A talented student with international experience is ready to work on insurance projects that need to be completed in your organization by the end of the summer. This internationally educated insurance underwriter is available for an unpaid internship from June 29 to August 21, 2020 (dates are flexible). Project areas that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing underwriting documentation
  • Providing quotations
  • Risk identification

Bow Valley College offers the CRTP. The objective of our program is to assist professionally trained immigrants with Canadian workplace culture skills, making their technical skills more marketable.

Requirements

Students are able to complete a substantial project to bring real results to your organization. We suggest providing a starting project, and as the it continues there may be other duties the students can complete as well. A structured timeline with milestones and project deliverables will provide the best actionable outcome. By offering this placement for a skilled worker, you compliment their education and international experience with Canadian work experience and may even find employees that last long term.
