We're a Canada-based start-up, but we have a global vision and mission:

1. To create the world's most comprehensive and valid dataset on employee motivators. 
2. To empower workers and companies to identify and fulfill their top motivators.

At Motivators.io, we provide HR Consulting, Talent Assessments, and Career Coaching Services. On the assessment side, we collect insights on the top reasons why employees choose to join, stay with, or leave a job or company.

These insights enable companies to make smarter investments in the programs and services that truly matter to their employees.

Our dataset also provides real-time insights into workplace motivator trends by region, job function, seniority, etc.

We would like to collaborate with students to analyze and visualize our raw datasets.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with our dataset objectives and analysis procedures.
• Checking for and correcting inconsistencies in the dataset.
• Calculating important results and plotting data in graphs and charts using Looker Studio and other visual data tools.
• Creating a repository of aggregate data with filterable fields.
• Identifying interesting trends and recommendations of market opportunities based on the data insights.
• Telling a story and insights based on your data analysis of motivating factors.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• The ability to filter and analyze data
• Correction of data inconsistencies
• Calculation of important results and trends
• Creation of filterable data fields using Looker Studio (formally Google Studio).
• Creation of graphs and visuals, either within Google Sheets, infographics, etc.
• Recommending topics for future research projects

Final deliverables should include:

• A final report
• A presentation
