Details

Naz Music Inc. is seeking to enhance its digital presence by deploying a Django-based web application into a Python environment. This project aims to provide learners with hands-on experience in deploying web applications, a critical skill in the tech industry.

The project involves setting up a Python environment, configuring the Django app for deployment, and ensuring that the app runs smoothly on a server. Learners will apply their classroom knowledge of Python, Django, and web deployment processes to achieve this goal. The project is designed to be completed by an individual from a computer science or software engineering program, focusing on practical application and problem-solving skills.

By the end of the project, the learner will have a comprehensive understanding of the deployment process, from initial setup to final testing.

Deliverables

- A fully deployed Django application running in a Python environment.

- Documentation detailing the deployment process, including configuration settings and troubleshooting steps.

- A presentation summarizing the deployment process, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.

- A brief report evaluating the performance and stability of the deployed application.

Naz Music is a BC-based Production Music Library specializing in: Vintage Jazz & Big Bands, New Age Lounge, Gypsy, Exotica, Surf, Spy, Spaghetti Westerns, traditional & modern Classical, Ultra Lounge, Rock Operas, Contemporary, Blues & other outer worldly genres.

Additionally, we are a Content Production Studio. We specialize in producing & licensing top-shelf guitar solos & duos recorded in HiDef using analog tube-driven equipment, emulating nostalgic soundscapes.

We also remaster Vintage Master Recording Reels for entry into Digital Music Markets. Our goal is to refine our Digital Marketing practice to more closely reflect the recent changes in the Music Industry, as well as redefine our target market to more closely suit Brand realignment targets and our Sync Licensing practice.

Naz Music has been working closely with an application developer who has created innovative publisher tools for independent publishers so they can compete with large-scale major publishers (like BMG, or, Sony, or, Universal Music). It levels the playing field by granting access to a high-quality toolset, without the $20K software acquisition price.
