Office and Membership Administration Intern

Our members and volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and their retention is critical to our organization’s success. We are looking for a student to come aboard as our Office Coordinator with an interest in Membership Engagement to support our daily day to day tasks You will undertake the following responsibilities within the membership realm: Achieve increased membership goals in the area of students and volunteers by building sustainable relationships with potential members in academic, corporate and social markets by consistently creating continued communication plans via social media outlets to achieve successful recruitment. Help coordinate the membership and volunteer recruitment strategy Assist in building a student and volunteer only section in WildApricot Member and Constant Contact software Provide research and compiling of membership opportunities and data The General administration tasks would be around: Answer, screen and respond to inbound phone calls General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system Handle requests for information and data including information booths and information sessions Resolve administrative problems and inquiries Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements Prepare schedules for meetings and appointments Take and maintain minutes of meetings Submit reports and documents required by Government agencies Coordinate and manage webinars and virtual conferences Provide support to Board of Directors

Short 60 Second Video Creation - YouTube Shorts & TikTok - Level UP

This project will involve creation of short form Video Content (typically 30 to 60 seconds each) suitable for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Our mission is to help people enjoy their best life while experiencing the great outdoors - We have some ideas for creative, highly sharable content aligned to our mission and we're looking for students with experience and passion in video creation to help bring it to life. Applicants with a strong interest in Camping and the Outdoors will really enjoy the subject matter. If you love video content and are an aspiring Online Influencer, this project will be a great match.

Digital Marketing - Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content (TIKTOK AND IG REELS) that is aligned with our vision, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We are a digital marketing firm located in Vancouver bc. We want to focus heavily on video content to promote our social media channel. 2 areas we are focusing on is TikTok and Instagram. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. If you like the sound of our culture and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. Since this is video-focused, there might be a need for the student to be on camera. If they are not comfortable, that's ok as there are other ways to create video content without showing a face. However, our research indicates that videos with human engagement (face) yield better views/engagement.

Content Creation

The main goal of this project is to help support with the content creation for Real Adulting 101. This may look like supporting with the development of a course (needs to have specific training in that course topic), or with the development of our Student Life 101 or our Guided Cohorts Development.
